Joseph Anton Carter, Award-Winning Film Editor
Joseph Anton Carter is an American filmmaker and actor. His 8-year spanning career began as a content producer for Machinima.com, garnering 500,000 to 1.5 million viewers on each creation he published. Later, he became editor for Thrasher Magazine’s Skateline NBD, a weekly skateboarding news show once produced by 900 Films, a video production company created by professional skateboarder Tony Hawk.
During his education at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, Joseph Anton Carter worked for Crush Pictures in Berkeley and Green Lit Productions in New York remotely under his own company, Enjoya Film, LLC. Joe’s created everything from motion graphics to film editing for these respective video production companies and their corporate clients. This includes Clorox, Puma Shoes, Wheels Up and more.
As an Independent Filmmaker, Joseph Anton Carter has been grateful to be awarded by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Student Production Awards for Best Editing in his first short film produced and directed during his education. He’s also been representing himself coast to coast for his work, being recognized by NFFTY for two of his films and the Chicago Comedy Film Festival for his latest comedy Goofinger (2016).
